Nothing will deter my drive, desire, and promise to save the world. We’re still standing, our head held high, and our chins up, knowing we did all that we could to make a difference in this world. More thoughts from me as they materialize. Folks, we cannot thank you enough for [...]

Next stop Austin HQ, well the restroom first. Then food. Then Austin HQ after we pump gas. My brakes are totally messed up so a fellow Kinky fan from San Antonio, Laura is giving me a ride up to Austin. Big thanks. I’m so excited to meet Kinky Staffers and Crew at HQ and maybe they’ll have something fun for me to do. I hear the Kinkster’s going to be there watching the returns. Hopefully my wireless works. Stick around.

That’s why you can’t name an issue Chris Bell stands firmly behind – no such issue exists; modern party politics are not designed for visionaries, for people willing to take stands on truly progressive (or truly conservative) issues.
I’m not saying you have to be against equal rights for gay Texans to vote for Chris Bell. I’m just saying it doesn’t hurt. The Democratic party’s response to a candidate who outflanks them on issues important to Democrats is to try to suppress the voice of the very base they demand absolute loyalty from. It’s easy for progressives to make fun Log Cabin Republicans, but it seems the Democratic party has just as little respect for gay Democrats as their sister party does for gay Republicans. [...]
